Hi All,
So got a letter from Robinson Way this morning courtesy of my old landlord.
The letter seems a standard phishing letter:
Previous Address: XXX
We wanted to write to you at the previous address noted above, but have been provided this as a new contact address.
Etc.
The old address is 2.5 years ago, I have no debts outstanding at all as far as I know. - Certainly nothing linked to that address.
The address it was sent to was one I moved out of about 4 months ago, so not sure where they got it from.
Would be good to know what they're on about - however don't fancy giving them my new address in a 'proveit' letter.
What's their SOPs, do they send a follow up letter with more details?
Risks of just calling them? Presumebly they have enough personal info to trace me already (albeit a few months behind) so DOB, Address and Name.
They record calls (presumably) so I know better than to acknowledge any debts - I basically want some basic information and a reference number. I will then know if it's SB'ed or close to being, or already settled as FnF.

If it's not on your credit report I'd just ignore it until something more substantial arrives in the post.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

Do you owe them?0

Check your credit records to see if there is anything outstanding. If not ignore until you get a letter that YOU owe THIS much to THIS company. Then start the provit route.
Do not phone them , ever.£1000 Emergency fund No90 £1000/1000
