Can you tell me please what does a Yard Marshall do? It's in a warehouse! But I don't know what that means!

Owing to metrification nowadays it's called a Metre Marshall (or if the warehouse is very small, a Centimetre Marshall).

If you were able to set up a user account on a forum, you should be perfectly capable of opening up a web browser and typing in YARD MARSHAL JOB DESCRIPTION into google. I did, it took me seconds and I now know what a Yard Marshal does.

Could you spend all day on your feet outside in all weathers?.
Could you direct a lorry into the correct bay whilst still holding a cup of tea?.

OP - do not confuse Yard Marshall with Field Marshall or Track Marshall. The latter two were agricultural tractors!
