Hello all,
I am planning on making Christmas eve type boxes for a few families with lots of craft items and games and deliver them on Christmas morning to keep the kids busy (also perhaps a bath bomb or wine for the adults.) I made one last year and made up a poem to go on the box explaining that the Christmas elf chose them because they are kind and good friends and that inside he box will be fun things to keep them busy until they can spread the reindeer food and go to bed. Unfortunately I cant find last years poem and I am struggling to put one together ........ if anyone has any poems/rhymes they would be willing to share I would be very grateful. I Have googled but there is nothing that covers special families being chosen.
Thanks xxxx

What do you mean by "special families"?

And perhaps you could change the wording on one you found online? They have some on the google images tab where you could copy the words onto a word document and amend as necessary.

By special families I mean families that are special to me as in family friends. I haven't had much luck on google so far (that is where I usually steal my ideas!!)

Have you tried the search term "christmas eve box poem"? there's quite a few printables which are very personable on there.

Failing that, I'm not sure what to suggest. Do you have something in mind already that we could try to help you with?
  • Here's the one I made up last year for brother and sil, not brilliant, but feel free to steal it x

    Twas the night before Christmas,
    When all through the house,
    Nobody was sleeping,
    Not even the mouse.

    The book has been read,
    The popcorn has gone,
    New pjs are worn,
    And the dvd is on.

    When all of a sudden,
    There arose such a clatter,
    You rush up the stairs,
To see what was the matter.

When, what, to your wandering eyes should appear,
    Two small sleeping children...

Now its time for a beer!

    Enjoy
