help needed with self cert secured loan
hi there,
any advice would be much apreciated please.
Our circumstances:
my partner has been self employed for ages but has recently set up his company, so we are looking for a self certified secured loan so we can finish renovating our house and add a couple of debts into it. we are capable of making the monthly repayments and have spoken to a company that claimed they would call us back with loan details but instead seem to have passed on our details and now we are getting so many calls from companies ofering us various loans andnow we are so confsed!!
he has a very good if not excellent credit rating as he has never missed a single payment on anything ever!! but we just want to make sure that we are going with a reputable company who can offer us a reasonable apr at a fixed rate so we know what our monthly payments are at all times ( crucial when you are self employed!) we also need a loan that we can pay off early as we would lke to have it paid off in full relitively soon as my partner gets lump um payments for big jobs etc...
we have about £70,000 equity in our house and want to borrow approx £45,000 so a personal loan is of no use to us. i really dont think any normal lender will touch us witha bargepole as to them it would look quite scary lending to us as we have just set up a company etc..
now i am just rambling!!!
your help would be great you money saving genius' you!!!
