Text about picking up a parcel

I received a text this morning with my name which said - UR parcel is waiting for collection at ..... and the name of a news agents 15 miles away.

I don't recognise the number ( +44 7967 272783) and a quick search shows nothing.

I am not expecting any parcels and it seems a bit strange that I would have to pick one up from a newsagents. I haven't had any notification via email and the text talk makes me feel a bit dubious.

Has anyone had this before? Thanks

Find a number for the newsagents and ring them to see if they do MyHermes collection and delivery perhaps? Seems a bit of an odd one but i would ring them (don't try the number the text came from)

I've had to pick up a parcel at a newsagents before ... can't remember who it was from (carrier wise), but the Shop was basically setup as a "collection point", I didn't get a text though, I got a missed delivery type card through my door.

Thanks both, I shall give the newsagent a ring after work and see what they say.
