Xmas jobs at Royal Mail

My other half has applied for Xmas delivery job at Royal Mail but he's heard nothing apart from the automated acknowledgement of his application. As it's all done online there's no one you can contact to try and push things along. Has anyone got any experience of dealing with them. Any ideas would be welcome as he really needs to get something. Thank you

  • They just cut everyone's contracts down from full to part time and paid to cut them, doubt it they will be hiring.
  • Seems odd that they've been paying to advertise jobs then ......

didn't realise it was a grammar competition.!

Royal mail paid there staff to Cut their contracts from full time to part time for 2 years, after 2 years they can reapply for full time positions.

IF THAT'S EASY FOR YOU TO UNDERSTAND.

    Well lets go with facts.
RM have not paid their staff to cut their contracts.
RM is still well over 50% FT staff.
A buy down (which you are referring to) has existed in RM for years and is nothing new.
Its not your grammar, simply you are talking utter nonsense.

RM has and is still recruiting both temp and fixed term contracts.
So would like to try a factual post?
