Just out of curiosity, what could possible be wrong with the car to justify a £1900 bill?
For the sake of comparison, I've just had a new gearbox fitted, new clutch fitted, new brake disks and pads fitted for less than that - And that included parts.
As an aside, the wight loss and the house purchase were the hard part. You've done this before and you have a clear goal in sight - I can't see any reason for you to fail to clear these debts and get to where you want to be in the next 18 months. It's a long road but it's a road worth traveling.Total Unsecured Debt - Summer 2010 - £68244 / Summer 2011 - £57252 / Winter 2012 - £38495 / Winter 2013 - £21520 / Winter 2014 - £9342. / Summer 2015 - £0 - No Agreements, no payment plans, no settlements, no bankruptcy, just hard work.0 -

Thanks for the belief and encouragement, it means a lot. I am hoping we will be debt free by the end of next year, but I think your timescale of 18 months is probably more accurate. Still, it is good to be ambitious.Co-op loan: £2672.38. £2886.64 / £5559.02
