Asda xmas card?

Might be a silly question but if I top up an asda xmas savings card by say £144 to obtain the yearly £6 bonus, once I get the bonus, can I simply spend say £7 through the next 12 months & just top up again by just £1 to take up to £144 again every year & keep getting the £6 bonus yearly. It sounds plausible & an easy way of getting 4%+ return for very little work every year. Has anyone tried this or knows someone who has?
