Hi All,
I'm work in design and a few months ago I interviewed at a company. The interviewer liked my work but he didn't have a job straight away so he asked if we could keep in touch for the coming months.
A few months later and a job has come up at the company. I contacted the interviewer who said he'd get in touch when they were starting to interview. This was over two weeks ago.
My question is, would it be appropriate to email him again for an update?
Thanks in advance for your advice.

Yep, I would contact him around now. I'm afraid I would tell a white lie - something like I am booking a holiday and want to make sure I am available at the time they want to interview so as not to let them down. (Given more time and thought, I would attempt to come up with something which wasn't actually a lie!
