APG's working like a charm on SS checkouts today. Confusingly though, it asks for 'Transaction Number', when it actually wants the TC Number from the receipt.
Thanks to all those whose shared updates on Beans/Soups/Pasta, I've got myself quite a few0 -
Just when the 50p was running out, someone chucks in £1!
More to post now:rotfl:.
A big red £1 price button:D:D, that is not to be pressed by buying the item. Not that we would have bought in M in the first place:rotfl:.
All for those weekend shoppers now, who weren't there last week/didn't notice the Seabrooks were 50p last week (and up until Tuesday this week) and see £1 and think wow! that's a good price! Many people think that red labelling means it is an offer price. And they like £1 "offers" (which this isn't: well, it is £1, but it's not an offer). A bit like expensive prepacked bananas:rotfl:.0 -

Very confusing. Obviously a neuro-typical again - they never get it right:rotfl:. (I mean the person that programmed the things.)
If you want the TC number, ask for the TC number! Obviously it's rocket science to them!:D:cool::rotfl::(
That would have got me (and obviously it got even you) - just would have wasted and wasted my time and I'd never have guessed what it actually wanted! Just can't get the staff:rotfl: (sigh)!0 -
:rotfl: Goodnight!:rotfl::wave:
EDIT: (:rotfl:)Just check the Cadbury's brunches - no, they're still £1:( - they'll doubtless be £1.98 and 3 for £3 tomorrow (any day that I don't check:eek:)!

Thanks and noted.
Just booked a cheeky flight to Louisiana and New York. Kind of MSE as it was £150 cheaper to fly back via New York than directly back from New Orleans. I can't wait to stock up on baking supplies, already looking online for Michaels and Hobby Lobby couponsAlso it will be nice to catch up with my friend. I haven't seen her in 3 years and was gutted I couldn't attend her wedding this year, after she moved it forward.

I love New Orleans. First place I went to in the US back in the 80s. Lots of great food and music! Po-boy sandwiches and Abida Porter to drink!
Here's a choon that celebrates it.

It's changed a lot apparently. I wasn't too keen when I went last time and my friend says it's been quite dangerous at night recently, but it's worth giving another chance I thinkShe lives an hour outside of it, so we'll probably go all over the place like Baton Rouge and up to her mum's in Jackson MS.

:rotfl:Alright, you know I went but returned!
Spend £40 and get 5,000 Points
Spend £40 in-store or online by Sunday 15th November and we’ll give you 5,000 More Points. We’ll add these points to your account automatically 72 hours after your shop or delivery.
Just remember this offer is exclusive to you so make sure you use the Match & More card registered to this email address.
Why not just give £5 off a £40 shop? Ah:idea:, they want me to spend £40 with them but, effectively, giving me £45 of M price shopping for £40:question::think:. So, they still get the £40:wall:. well, they're not giving me back more than I paid, so I think I'll shop elsewhere:rotfl::rotfl:. £40 is too dear anyway - never even manage £10 these days:laugh:. And, to get the £5 as a voucher, will need to make a further purchase to spit it out, then make another purchase to use the voucher itself. Obviously aimed at muggles:rotfl: (even though it was addressed to me personally - I'll take that as a compliment). Basically they want us to spend £40, having spent the £40 for nothing there and then immediate. Then, in several days' time, when we've forgotten our card, go back and buy some more shopping (half, or possibly even all, of which will be overpriced judging by how most people shop), can't use the voucher as haven't got it yet, and don't get it dished out as we've not used our card. Then, when we finally remember, get dished out a £5 voucher, when spending a huge amount on another shop (weekly shop maybe), then if we remember to bring that voucher next time, spend another huge amount, on another weekly shop, and have £5 taken off which "feels good:D".
Of course it doesn't have to be used that way. But that's how in practice it would end up being for most normal shoppers I suspect. Of course it has people making return visits, in order to spend £5 vouchers, and hopefully (for the stores) picking up lots of impulse items and spending too much again (especially in the run to Christmas) - far more than the £5 it 'costs' M. (Although I also understand that cond.spends and vouchers, in effect, like this don't make the stores much money.)
And they want to try to get me to rush to their store within the next three days, to spend £40, doubtless with very little planning on my part - or to get me to do my hypothetical weekly shop with them this week as opposed to someone else and thus trying to capture that market.
You know - when I saw the heading - "Get 5,000 points", I thought I could just get 5,000 points just like that. Didn't think I've have to spend anything - and spend something way far in excess of £5 that makes it completely unprofitable and not worthwhile to me:rotfl:. Yes:p - I look at shopping as a profit-making exercise:rotfl::rotfl: - I think a lot of the Elite do:D:rotfl::rotfl::T:T. I'm a business! A professional shopping business:rotfl: - needs to make money;):rotfl::cool:.0
