Alright then:rotfl::rotfl:. I'll consider it again and stick to SP Batter Mix at 15p next time:p.

And you're right - those Batter Mixes last for ages beyond their BB date (far longer than I ever thought they would - Approved Foods website sells them at least a year beyond their date) - so maybe some old 9p ones hanging around would do...:rotfl:

batter mix is OK for 15p, a good filler and also you don't have to worry about expiry dates.

    But eggs are my issue.

I can use 2 eggs in a batter mix but then I have 4 left over.
In summer I do boiled eggs with salads but its not summer.
OH has lazy breakfast so he would never think of doing himself a boiled or a fired egg or a poached egg on toast.
I cant eat anything that obviously tastes eggy eg quiche
I like cake making but OH suffers my cakes so there is no point inflicting them on him
so I have 4 eggs left sitting in the fridge making me feel guilty.

I know. The Savoy Cabbages are 50p in M. Nothing I can do about that I'm afraid. I can't make them compare! And the White Baps, they never pick up M's Large White Baps and compare against those (though they are £1 at the moment in M:eek::rotfl: according to msm) - those must have been bought on the A mbuy (3 for £1.50). The Rindless pork is the wrong one - and anyway the boneless pork is back at £3/kg in M not £2/kg this week.

I knew about the pork... It was added just to up my spend to the £25 ish mark:)

If you really need to use up eggs they make a great hair treatment. Whisk the egg and apply to the hair for 5-10 minutes then rinse with tepid water.... Not hot or remotely warm or it will turn to scrambled egg:rotfl: then dry as usual. It feels a bit strange whilst drying but once dry your hair has a lovely shine and looks healthy;)
