Well they did and they are still scanning at £49 although on their site they are £79.99. Hth somebody. Before you assume, learn the facts,
Before you judge, understand why,

Here's a story for you, my oh use to work somewhere that had very rich guests and was once given a £250 bottle of red and a bottle of crystal (sp) champagne as a gift, well my dad came to stay once and asked if we had any drink, me knowing nothing about wines gave him the £250 bottle of red( I didn't realise that was what I had gave him) and my dad said it tested corked and poured it away :eek::o My oh was not best pleased to find the bottle opened let alone poured away :rotfl::o
I'm of the opinion that any wine is only as good as the person tasting it thinks. If you don't like the taste, it's irrelevant what it costs. Does a £15 bottle of wine taste any worse when it's on a 'half price offer' at £7.50. I can get a bottle of my favourite Marlborough Sav Blanc from TWS @ £20 or the same bottle 'on offer' from the supermarket for £8.00. Tastes the same whatever the cost.:beer:0 -

That's very true,I don't like wine at all so any wine is wasted on me, we opened the champagne to celebrate one of my children were born and my friend was horrified when she saw me putting lemonade in it :rotfl: I think all red wine tastes like vinegarOne cannot change the past, but one can ruin the present by worrying over the future.0 -
Morning all. Coming out of lurk dom just to say that I wouldn't buy the sun if they were giving away bottles of champagne never mind cider. Each to their own I suppose.
Oh dear, you may well find this thread is way out of your comfort zone -the lure of very cheap or free bargains have a tendency to overide any sensitivities here !!!:) You might change your mind if you stick with us.ELITE 5:2

Doesn't t anyone else have a card for 20p off the Sun at Tesco till middle of January ?
Good Morning all
It would appear not - even Mrs Anon didn't receive one and T send her vouchers that they never send me.
That said, a few pounds in fuel to get to the nearest store for me would reduce the value of the voucher somewhat.

My mum and Dad went on a cruise to celebrate their golden wedding and they were given a bottle of Landon. They put sugar in it quote " so they could get it down!"0
