Sorry to hear you are poorly again ...fingers crossed you will be home soon 😀

Hello perky, how are you feeling today? Better Today I hope , seems to be a lot of sickness going around just now.

That's what my friend said I suggested giving the nurses the champagne as a bribe to let me go home!
I have just discovered that I have an infection and apparently normaal crps are 10 and mine are 37:(

Would you credit it , good job the registrar was on the ball Di otherwise you would have gone home with that infection. Speedy recovery wished for you x

A few pages behind again, which in a way is a good thing. It means I'm doing other things and not on here all day :rotfl: :rotfl:
    .
Snap, sending you gestest wishes and hoping you have a good trip on Wednesday and find dad further along the path to recovery x

Tweets, thinking of Poppy and you tonight (((hugs)))
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

I wonder if, having gone through this once, you realise that there's no need to put up with it again......whatever you do it will be the right decision.....

This one makes the last one seem like a walk in the park :(

Did we all know there's a baxters soup moc in @ Halloween mag? It's the same British soup versions as tcb .... Currently 79p @ 80p in t..

And I was in Sada this morning and didn't collect any mags ...

But I did get 3 copies a few weeks ago if I can find them ...

    A culinary question

    I've got these 2 sachets
Uncle bens recipe base sweet and sour chicken
Blue dragon sweet and sour wok sauce

My OH loves sweet chilli dip sauce but he insists sweet and sour is completely different to sweet chilli dip.

    Who is correct?

These are ones you do on the hob so I can't just prepare everything and stick it in the oven and bluff it out

Sweet chilli dip sauce is very different to those two, no way could they replace it, sorry :)

Condoms... lots of condoms (and literature of sex education)

    Lips salve

    Make up

    Circus games (juggling set etc)

    Stationary for kids

    Sharing sweets

DS1 Xmas present.... all to send to DS1 in Burma.

(I am a bit worried about sending condoms and make-up...)

Would you like a few raspberries in your glass!

    :D:D:D:D:D

A very comprehensive list - pound shops are a good place to start, maybe Home Bargains for the stationary and sweeties ...

on the poundland thread there are reports of Griffin ipad covers for ipad 2s and they look very very nice.

I've had the same cover since day but I quite fancy the owl version.

These would also make great gifts to include in a festive goody bags esp for people who are quite difficult to please - nice slab of their favourite chocolate, some glitchy toiletries, bargain box wine and a new ipad cover - it looks like you have really made an effort to give them something nice.

Also some versions look suitable for blokes who are always difficult

Yes I've seen them. Also says suitable for iPad Air but I beg to differ lol. I bought one for mine and it goes in but it's a bit loose as its thinner and not as easy to use as a proper fitted one because it drops down a bit and you can't type but bargain for £1
