I spent £80 in Aldi today. :o

I even got myself a cycling shirt. :rotfl:

I drew the line at the ladies £3.99 shorts bib and braces or whatever they are called. I laugh at Mr TS when he wears his long ones, shame they only had x large left in mens as he could really do with a new pair as he has worn a hole.

My store only had long leggings for men, I quite fancied something with a padded bottom. ;)

I got the last pair of lobster gloves. I kid you not that's what they are called and the pair left were extra small. :T I reckon they will be really good with my arthritis as I find it difficult with the cycling gloves Mr TS bought me few years back these don't feel stiff and not having to separate all my fingers feels more comfortable. :j

They got the student midwife to check too and she agreed with the other midwife.

The way I see it is.. my daugher makes her own choices and we back her up!

I dont disagree with the consultant.. I just think they are a bit quick..

I've always trusted the midwives more..invested in me and the baby whereas the "consultants" I felt were more distanced, thinking about time constraints/staffing as well as me etc. As others have said...mum and baby ok, midwife happy with waiting , then all is ok. Good luck xx

ps- My guess, 9lbs and a tray of pot noddles.....

this is a good point about Morrisons, how do we even know when the points have gone on. The receipt says the tills pit has been scanned - I think I only did it once in October
Just wondering now if there was a customer service email we could send them a receipt scan ...
I had an unexpected £5 till spit voucher but I think that was because of added points and not the 250 bonus.

re the Sainsburys petrol - I think the only way to tackle this is to go twice and just put in £5 of fuel each time - I think most of us have full tanks for the next week or so anyway its going to be difficult to put any fuel in within the time scale never mind doing it twice :D
as for when the 100 points will go on - it could be anytime up to 28 days after the 2nd addition, you just have to check your nectar.com, Wednesday is a good day as we think that might be update day

Yes, because it's not as good as the offer that ended at the end of October:(. Even without though, the right Sains., for me, at 0.2p per litre more expensive than A, work out (very slightly) cheaper than A even with only the standard Nectar points. What I was going to do was just put a litre in next time I am passing (and happen to have used some of my fuel) and then go again before the expiry period is up and fill up with whatever amount I need then (as long as never spending more than £10 at any one time as any money-off vouchers for the shopping will then require higher spending - that said they seem to have stopped the spits for a while whilst they run these offers - nothing whatsoever from my petrol spends:( and will now probably need to keep away for longer after all of this;)).

Correction: one litre, not one quid. :eek:I never put in non-exact amount of litres, as then lose Nectar points (in cumulation over the useless excesses above straight litres).:rotfl:
  • hi, I am 99% sure you will not get a discount until at least the 25th nov because there is a special colleague discount event on until the 24th and asda don't like to give too much away xx

Glad I got it today then, that would have been too late :)

My old midwife used to say that consultants only see problems as that is what they are called for, so they think everyone is a potential problem !!

midwife said she will have it in the next hour or so. :)

Yes, sadly gone non-comparable (due to M changing to variable weights) but not too bad as A went down in price. I've had a note to that effect on the M list and left it there for some time to allow people to notice it. Now that it's been there for a while, I'll remove it (and these SP cheese items) next time I substantively update the list. It's stuck on last Wednesday - but that still works at the moment:T. The APG will update and then just be careful and check m.com as my list will be out-of-date. That's if you bother with my list at all:rotfl:, you don't have to!:D

I do look at your list but we needed cheese and I couldn't see one on offer in morrisons that was high in Asda.
