Rose...I read back over last night and I'm sorry you feel the need to lurk rather than post...I didnt see what may have upset you but clearly something has.
Its also your decision to leave,we cant make you stay but I will say that I think over the past year you have had some wonderful advice and support and praise for the posts you have made....even yesterday or over the weekend many posters gave you ideas or guidance on how to manage your situation you posted regarding your mums phone bill...
I also remember very fondly, beautiful pictures of your daughters wedding and congratulations being posted at your impending grandparent status.
There might be cliques within the elite...there might also be people who naturally share more in common with a few others than the en masse of the elite....but we are here when anyone wants to post.
Ultimately its your choice,we are adults and occaisionally something probably gets to all of us that sees us blend into the background for a while.....take some time out if you need and come back when you are ready x
Very well said- but I think its probably the same with the elite as in RL, you can go for months without seeing someone and then when you do its like you never been apart.
I have been here a year now and I think the same goes here everyone needs time out but when we start taking part again its as if we have never been away. Its hard to get the balance right, and every ones posts is important its what the elite are good at, pulling through hard times together, whether it be savvy shopping or RL problems someone is always around. See you after your coffee break Rosehow ever long that may be x:)0 -
Good morning all
Happy Birthday Bubbs :bdaycake: Sorry to read that you are unwell. Sending you best wishes for a very speedy recovery x
Have been doing battle with my Doctors surgery. For three weeks I have been trying to make an appointment for a flu jab as I am in the 'at risk' group. I phone the beginning of the week and get told to phone back at the end of the week, phone the end of the week and get told to phone again at the beginning of the week, it is like a never ending circle grrrrr. So I have decided to go to my local pharmacy and pay for it, I just can't be doing with it anymore!
Going to have a read back as I haven't been around for a few days xBefore you assume, learn the facts,
Before you judge, understand why,
Before you hurt someone, feel,
Before you speak, think.0 -

You know what HILLBERN...I love that phrase...."I'm taking a coffee break"...not wishing to make light of any situation but thats a great way for someone to just move in and out of the elite as necessary.frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend0 -
another email offer from Ebay today, list something for sale and sell before November 22nd and get 2000 nectar points
this might be the kick up the rear I need
When I logged onto ebay and went to the bottom of my ebay home page it lists the offers you are eligible for and I had one to activate - start a listing for £5 or under and get 25% off the FVF and this I have to do before 05/11
I've not done any selling in over 6 months so this is going to be a bit of a learning curve.
At the very lowest level of activity if I get one item listed in the next day or 2 with an under a fiver start price and get it sold before the 22nd then at the very least I get £10 in nectar points (or more if I can think of something to buy during the double up)“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
