when i used this offer on amex, i had a 30% off voucher, so for once we could have any drink/dinner/dessert we wanted between the 4 of us.(we normally order tap water , kids have a kids meal ,even though oldest is 15:eek: and share a dessert if were feeling flush) however, the Coventry restaurant took 30 ins to bring drinks and 1 hr to bring starters of garlic bread, so hubby complained and the lady gave us free drinks. then when the main food came out (at last) hubbies food was stone cold in the middle-which he was really p!55ed off stand complained yet again, and my hoisin duck pasta was disgusting, so i quietly ordered a beef burger as well making no fuss.in the end they didnt change us for drinks, or hubbies calzone, or even for both of my mains! great we though now we have to pay even more money out lol. so we left a tip for £12 so the bill then came to £45 so we then got £20 back off amex! well service we rubbish at the start , but at least they gave us lots of free things to make up for it. they couldn't believe the tip amount lol bet that wouldn't have happened if we didnt have the amex deal!

this sounds like one of my evenings out where you try your hardest to make it so nice for everyone but it all goes horribly wrong ...

    Mhoc,

I had an iPhone 4 with a giffgaff sim working no problem. Have changed now to a BT sim so that I could use BTwifi when away from home. (We lived in an area where BT was the best option for phone and broadband). Hope that helps.

I've looked on their website and it says they are now all over this 4G so this has worried me
and also I don't know if my phone is unlocked.

OH usually deals with the mobile bill but he has hinted that the bill should now come out of the household account in which case I need a better understanding

sky increasing the cost of their talk package is the instigator of this - hardly use the home phone to make calls as it is

    Good morning all :)

I have just placed an order for Black Tower Bubbly to be collected later today. I did check local Asda earlier this morning and it's £3.50 SEL although there wasn't any on the shelf. Will be interesting to see what substitutions I receive. Whatever it is, I'm sure it will be drunk at Christmas time.
Thank-you ever so much to the person (Savvvvy?) who found this deal :D
    Born to glitch :D
