    Morning Peeps!

Funny old week .......half term is when I fill the cupboards and try to get organised for Xmas.

Too tired to do much so far, and away in London for a couple of days then MiL Birthday meal on Sunday. So need to get going today !!!!!

No Pot Noodles for us. Only flavour anyone likes is Chicken and Mushroom and I was too tired to bother. :(

On the plus side.. I did manage to get some SFF tix for Brooklyn and used the last of the Sweet Sundays to book DS2 and 2 friends into Hunger Games as an early Xmas treat!

Thanks tp Mhoc I have updated my Mycoupon list and will be off on a wine hunt in Sains. (More herbs? Thamk you to Aau1).

    No lurking today :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    HE x

mycoupons has refreshed this Wednesday - I've got some quite useful ones for £1 items with either 40 or 60 nectar points - as there are so few useful cashback items getting the mycoupons list is a good substitute- better than struggling to upload a receipt for 10p!

Brand match results from last nights CC. Anyone any idea how Tesco get the prices? Torres wine 6 for £25 on Sada site.

    6x
    TORRES VINA SOL 75CL
    £42.00 n/a n/a £41.82

It should just get taken from A.com and considering it's on there with the exact same name it should have been easy to match up

Interesting (?) point: when I look at A.com from Scotland the individual price is £4.17 which is the same as 6 for £25 but doesn't require you make a bulk purchase to get the price

(I know 6x£4.17=£25.02 and therefore not the same as 6 for £25, zippy)

    Me again!:D

Red and white mystery wines available:):)

Don't forget to use codes and TCB!

my order is supposed to be delivered today - probably when I am out but fingers and everything crossed it arrives now while I am still in my dressing gown - rather that than the order arrive when OH is here :D

OH seems to have taken the pledge again or at least weekdays - very sensible really. so the 24 bottles arriving added to what is left over from last year will keep us going for another 12 months

Good morning. This may be a silly question but how long should pumpkins last? I bought two last week (you may recall I reported back about matching W £2) but I notice this morning both are mouldy on one side and mushy . We have not even carved them yet as Halliween isn't until Saturday :(.

They should last longer than that, but it depends how you keep them. I always pop mine in the veg rack and they seem to last fine. That said, I don't think I have ever had a pumpkin in the house that long, don't buy them for Halloween, tend to buy them afterwards when they go down and make a nice pie or soup.

    Good morning, lovely Elite
I've been unable to participate in glitches for a while, but I'm hoping to get back into the game and I need your advice.
I've got a c&c order for the bubbly wine to collect later, I checked in advance that the store has it on rtc. Well I checked my card online and the full amount has been charged, so I'm wondering if it's worth the 40 minute drive to pick it up. Any suggestions?

Pumpkins should keep for months Anon.

We grow them on the allotment/community garden and they keep well into new year and have never been fussy how we store them.

The only problems we have is that they don't get pinched first!
