Can't afford to get anything at the mo.
I'm knackered not being able to do car boots.
Trying to live on £60 a week benefits.

    P.S. I am a stroke victim.

It's such a shame you can't get to do your car boots anymore, as much as it was your livelihood, tales of your booties used to make us all smile.....

Sending you positive thoughts that something will soon be round the corner for you. And that hopefully your health struggles will ease with time. x

Just to let you know, the Kipling Mini Battenbergs from today I have a slight conflict and doubt that they may have gone back up to full price. I know what msm and m.com say (which is a 75p price until 13th December), but I cannot rely on either of those. M.com may not yet have updated to reflect changed instore pricing (if indeed there is any change and I doubt that there has been).

I don't think they've gone up to full price; however there is always the possibility, however slight, that an offer could be 'pulled' early and that they have indeed done so and I cannot completely rule that out. The situation I have is full price SEL in one store and no indication of any offer at all - no stock on offer at the end aisle or anywhere else. The second store has got the half price red offer label with "Offer until...", and it's clearly still in date, however they have taken it off the shelf and I found it on the floor. It's possible the offer could have ended, as they've taken the offer label off (why would they do that?), and indeed the first store has full price, or then again the offer label could simply just have fallen off.

I know the Kipling Bakewell Tart picked up full price:( on the APG recently, so just wanted to warn about this one.

So, in other words, probably safer to buy Lyons Battenberg (if available) at 74p in M rather than attempt APG on the Kipling Mini Battenbergs. Perhaps M want us to do that:rotfl::eek::(. The Mini Battenbergs will probably work on the APG, but I can't say for sure. And, after all, I thought the Alpen light would probably work by now:(. For the record, I had no such conflict on the Mini Battenbergs on Monday, so maybe they are more likely to work on the current data but not on Wednesday's data once it updates. Or maybe not.

Separately, I believe the Kipling Cherry Bakewell Puddings (2x95g) - specifically Cherry Bakewell (my favourite flavour:() - will not work. I know they say £1 online; however I still have full price on this flavour only in all M stores I've seen. (It seems as if M HQ have not distributed offer labels to stores for this flavour of the product - and therefore the stores are still showing full price. If that's so in the price collectors' stores, that's the price (full price) that they will collect.) One specific version of Kellogg's Rice Krispie Squares - this is weeks ago do not get confused with now - did not work several weeks ago and that version was one that, although showing M on offer on m.com and msm, had full price SELs on that particular one in the M stores I visited - and the APG had the same (the other flavours, which showed the offer in M instore, did work). This has no bearing at all on what might happen on these products at the moment. It is coincidental that it was those products weeks and weeks ago, so do not let any of this confuse you.

I know the Cadbury Sticky Puds (two versions: Fudge Sponge Pudding and Chocolate Sponge Pudding) are showing £1 M online. However, they are not showing that in any M store that I have seen. I do not believe that they will work. The SELs are £1.69 full price on each in every store I've seen. I have seen no evidence at all or any indication of any offer on them in M instore. I therefore did not have them on the list and will not have them on the list when updated later. As far as I know, from instore, they are full price and the APG I feel will return the same as well. Of course I could be wrong - the APG may use stores that are showing an offer - if indeed there is any offer - but I would wait for a womble showing a £1 M comparison than buy either of these puddings hoping for that comparison, as I think it's again likely that the APG will have the same experience as I've had. I am marking them as £1.69 M full price:p (sorry folks:)).

EDIT: Of course, if anyone can confirm that their M instore is still showing a 74p price on the Kipling Mini Battenbergs then it may still be good to go on the APG (assuming it's even good to go right at this moment). So, anyone in M that happens to be visiting, let us know!

    Amazing cake PD :T:T

    Good evening everyone

Confirmation that if you buy the 25% wine offer in S if you add a bottle of port or any other single more expensive bottle of wine it takes 25% off that also.

    I bought 6 red & 1 Dow's Port & 25% came of all 7 bottles :j:beer: Thanks to emribena hukd

I managed to use £3 0ff £20 spend moc even though it said not to be used against wine offer. :T:T

All above works online & in store.

I also got 20p items S tomato relish, Haywards sweet pickled onions & Tobasco with cola marinade.

Also, jumbo raisins & cranberries snack size 35g 10p. I would never pay 60p for them.

Port and sherry is included in the 25% off 6 bottles or more,
You can mix and match any 6 or more wines, ports or sherry and you get 25% off all bottles, so if you bought 10 bottles you would get all 10-25%. HTH

Baileys - 1 litre for £10.00 at ASDA from Friday 30/10/15 for three days

    :j:j
I think that's lowest price we've seen on them for a while. I have seen them in M - they've been going down to £12:( and back up - but I've not seen the £10 price anywhere for a while. M do, at some points, go down to £10 - but they've just not done that recently. Of course it would be better if it was £10 elsewhere (then £9 net. cost with the APG if it gets picked up), unless you have a Mr A colleague discount card (in which case you're in luck this weekend:T:j). It's possible of course that it may be better waiting, to see if anywhere rival goes to £10, although it may be that nowhere does. (Hopefully the £10 will encourage somewhere soon after to follow likewise:D:D.) It might not happen though and, if you need it for Christmas, it might be best going for it now (and then watching somewhere else, sod's law, go to £10:(). You can bet it will be like this: (1) you don't buy it at £10 from A, then nowhere else will go onto that price; or (2) you buy it at £10, then somewhere else will put it onto that price and you may have lost £1 (APG comp. at that point).

Of course, if this does go down to £10 in M at any point, assuming I am there, you will know on the very Monday or Wednesday that it does so. It'll be the first thing I'll mention! That's if M don't put it onto £10 offer over a weekend:mad::mad: (and it therefore miss the APG altogether - it may, fwiw, still work on TBG in such hypothetical situation).

I assume the 'tip-off' about the A price is true.

Sorry I forgot to say the offer also includes sparkling wines, proseccos and champers.:j
  • I found the pot noodle glitch last time when they were on 3 packs of 4 for £8 but that was a fluke. I have no idea where to start with finding glitches but would be more that willing to look and share if I knew where to start :o

Forgot to mention.....also at Tassimo if you spend over £40 use the code to get a free coffee disc dispenser.

Mum had the code too but unfortunately they do not stock the decaf they like.

Lovely lunch and shop with N. Not read back yet so not sure if she has been on. Major complaint about service in M&S but the manager who came to see us went far above and beyond to locate what N wanted for her. Spent 2 hours in there and nearly bought a trilby and necklace. Nice pub lunch. Bought some lovely yarn with ribbon running through it to knit mum a scarf. She is always making me stuff and says she doesn't want xmas presents so homemade this year. Could have bought 3 nice ones in sainsbobs but me knitting it will mean far more. Then I was literally pushed into primark where I bought lots of vest tops to wear under jumpers.
By this time feet aching we decided to pop into boots as I wanted a drink for the car. Quick womble round self service and lots of £5 no 7 vouchers to spend. Bought face wipes for £2 a pack. OK posh wipes but nice. I also got 3 no 7 skincare items as far better value than a gift pack with tiny sizes (that I couldn't use voucher on) got free gift bag as well.

Oh and happened to wake at 3 am so bought a couple of no 7 calenders.

Have had a really lovely day.

I hope LS is slowly feeling better.

More comments if I catch up without falling asleep.
