Poor kids. Terrible situation to be in, let alone at Xmas.

Just a small gesture on my part to let them know that the world isn't all bad x
    I agree:D
The women's refuges are normally desperate for kids clothes, bedding, towels.... when I worked in one we used to take anything that was reasonable and always found a home for it!.

I sent a car load of stuff, well there was that much they came and collected:T:T

    Oh....have a fabulous jolly DM:T

    Tassimo:o

Tried today to place an order ....you need to spend £35 for free delivery and £45 to get 15% off:eek:

    Just thinking. Will this work?

    I have a £4.50 off a £30 spend at S.

Will the Costa Americanos compare £4.50 each to A at £7 for 2?

I'm thinking buying 6 plus the cheapest possible branded items for £30 ish. Paying £26 ish but getting a £6 BM.

Thanking you most kindly in anticipation:D

Crikey! This has come down in price too, and now seems good for Avs S (SP version):

    Sainsbury's Basics Sage & Onion Stuffing (85g)

Although I think a different size of Paxo, ages and ages ago, worked out better:rotfl:.

So that you know, in the light of the Salad Cheese 'find' earlier - it was always there found by anyone who'd bought Basics Greek Style Salad Cheese in the past three weeks:rotfl: - I am doing a full comprehensive 'sweep' of all Sains. Basics products to see if any are good value to go onto an Avs S list.

I'm also checking (not at the exact same time:rotfl:) the T products (mainly Eday) for potential TBG filler items. As you know, I won't put any where you can potentially get 10% cheaper from A:rotfl: and, really, we should not be buying fillers at T and just buying more from T than simply buying the few comparable branded items that we would have bought at the competitor. However, people may only have a T nearby:( or, anyway, savvy shopping is about buying at the best place - in other words at whichever place is the best value - and, if T is that, then it wouldn't be wrong to buy the items at T anyway.
