  • Soak Gammon in water overnight - place in slow cooker with fresh water to come up half way up joint - 5 - 6 hrs medium.


    Drain and reserve liquid to cook cabbage in saucepan with lid on.


    Rest meat for 30 mins before carving under a damp tea towel.

    Am I the only one who loves it going dark sooner so I can shut shop (curtains/blinds) and put the light on and feel all cosy :)

    Also folk cant see I am in so don't knock louder when I don't answer door ;) :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
