Even though I can't cook well I can cook plain rice ok it's all in the rinsing cold before and boiling hot after.
But I did stock up on some Lidl packs when they were very cheap while back and I still have few left. They are handy when I feel lazy.
Mr TS cooks all sorts, his own kedgeree, fried rices, biryanis, risottos, he would send me packing if I gave him microwave stuff.
Good evening all, so sorry to read of Snaps dear Father, hope he is showing some improvement, and LS also.
Bubbs another way to cook rice is in the microwave. Just rinse well and drain and add cold water to about 3/4 of an inch above the top of the rice however much you are cooking. Full power for about 15 mins depending on your microwave.
oops, sorry, quoted wrong post.0 -
I have never had a receipt given back unsigned and the SA's always check the numbers etc match.
I used some NCG soup vouchers earlier and she had to run off and check it was ok. I prefer the till manager to serve (love his hair) as he always lets me use vouchers and they just go to him to check anywaysI have dyslexia, so get used to my spelling and grammarMortgage pay off date 11/2028. Key to attempting to understand the M list (since, with all the old crossed-out prices, it's becoming a bit unclear).
Acme Noodles £1.00 £1.00
'Current' A price, Last Wednesday's M price (treated as being 'current')
Hereafter referred to simply as "A price" and "M price".
Acme Noodles £1.00 [Strike]£1.50[/Strike] £1.00
A price, Old M price, New M price
Acme Noodles [Strike]£1.00[/Strike] £1.50 £1.00
Old A price, New A price, M price
Acme Noodles [Strike]£1.00[/Strike] £1.50 [Strike]75p[/Strike] £1.00
Old A price, New A price, Old M price, New M price
Illustrative example (fictional product, fictitious prices). Hope this is clear.
(Of course, we could also have
Acme Noodles £1.00 [Strike]75p[/Strike] [Strike]£1.00[/Strike] £1.05
Mr A's price and then a series of price increases at M:rotfl:
Or even...add a crossed-out old A price to the beginning of this last example.)
I think the basic 'rule' is that crossed-out prices are old prices and come before 'current' ones. So a crossed-out price and then one that isn't crossed would relate to the same store.
It's the same approach for Tvs M. For A above, read T.0 -
