for instance I've had an email from groupon with a code for international mens day with 15% off deals for men - I have no idea what might be included under the title of mens deals

Might have a play with this tomorrow but almost certainly I wont get the code to work on anything.

there was a surprise code over the weekend but I didn't even bother to do attempted purchases to see exactly what the discount might be - well there is a surprise :D

  • Thanks for all the requests to join the new emergency service
Extreme Supermarket Sweep. If you make a request please follow up with a pm of your mse name. This is just a verification and allows a more harmonious site. If you haven't sent a pm yet then I am afraid you are waiting in line. My glamorous assistant tells me 'if your name ain't on the list, you ain't coming in.'
    Thanks

typical- just went shopping at weekend for DS for smart clothes for his new job............spent a small fortune at M&S - hmmmm wonder if I order the same stuff and return it to store with store receipt will they notice:cool:

    Hi TM:D:D

Thanks for new thread TS and welcome to all - feels like the old days on here and I am starting afresh as been away too long to understand how it all works now!

    yes do
Have you got your sparks card registered as well - if not you might have to pop into store and get one and register it - do this before the new order.
Firstly do the exact same order all over again and use your 20% discount code - you do have a code?
Then return the original order - if you cant find your receipt they should be able to give you a credit note which is valid for a year.

Hello everyone, been a long while since I posted on an elite thread. I admit to having lurked on and off.
Good to see some friendly, familiar names such as the lovely tweets and the equally lovely Snap Ant among some new names.
I'm going to try and make more effort and post more rather than lurk.

Ah a fellow Gemini- welcome back:)

A big thank you to Tinyshoes for the new thread.
There was a bit of a panic and we opened a new emergency fb page where we accept all but can kick out immediately there is a problem.
I started sorting it when I was told this one was down.
For future reference it is Extreme Supermarket Sweep.

So pleased to sign in and find, what is a lifeline to a few of us, back up and
    running.

Ok I missed this morning but normal Monday morning talk is mhoc chasing her cashback and looking at cheap hotels.

    V x

    yes and yes

but I was not around very long. Everyone was busy wrapping presents and making Christmas cakes and it all got a bit too over whelming so I retreated to the garden with my spring bulbs as a revolt against the onslaught of Christmas :rotfl:

If anyone is teetering on the edge of madness don't venture into Home Bargains as I did this afternoon - there are some seriously cute Christmas stock in eg duvet covers with cute reindeer on, big furry fleeces like fur pelt to go over beds and sofas, cute scotty dog pencil cases and mugs wrapped in red knitted covers, marzipan chocolate logs which are like aldi ones but cheaper ..

also found some posh looking fudge bags so I got some of the salted caramel ones to try - results later
