It's a weekend offer but it does depend what area you are we are getting the lamb mince and just over £1 a pack down here not the turkey.

If you go on Lidl site you can put in your postcode to view the online leaflet for your store and it will show what offers you will be getting.

Ha! So you can work out where I live now:rotfl:.
Anyway, as this shopper was at a Mr A store not far away from my Lidl, they have no excuse!

What the wombles do tell me, without even setting foot in the store, is that the A I went to does not have the mbuy signage up on the shelving as the offers are too new:(. What people's 'shopping habits' show is the layout of items in the store and the location of the promotional signage for them more than anything else. It just shows you how effective the marketing in the store and it's more an indication of that - because the wider public, people generally, are sheep that are easily influenced by signage and red backgrounds to prices and haven't got any time or intelligence, unlike us on here, to work out what actually is good value instead of giving stores more money through their effective offers and misdirections towards items that good but are on poorer offers or work out more costly.

:eek:I know I suggest a very dim view of the supposed lack of intelligence of the public again:rotfl::rotfl:. I don't know if it's true - maybe they aren't lacking in intelligence or perhaps, to some extent, it's more complex than that! (And of course I'm the one that will understand the complexity and all the details of it:rotfl:. I won't be able to explain it though, as that's where my own abilities lack a little:(. Anyway, I've the excuse: it's complex, so that it cannot be explained simply:rotfl:.)

From 7 years working in ENT, cholesteatoma is a benign growth in the ear. I emphasise the word BENIGN :D left untreated, it can and will cause permanent deafness, frequent discharge and various inner ear conditions ; namely vertigo. Once treated, the hearing won't be the same again but it will stop it deteriorating any further. Some cholesteatomas can be tricky to remove in their entirety, depending on the growth and spread of them. Risks of surgery include facial nerve damage, but again, that depends of the severity of the growth. Surgery time approx 3-4 hours.

After surgery, to start with he will need regular appointments for cleaning wax and debris out of his ear. As time goes on, those appointments will become less frequent. He should also have regular CT scans too to check for recurrence

I used to work for the specialist cholesteatoma surgeon in the south west so I picked up a grain of knowledge or two.

Feel free to PM me here or on Facebook :)

Thanks for that information QoC, very interesting. My Mam's ear drum was burst by doc while he was syringing her ear way back in the 70's. She never had any treatment on it after that. Just went totally deaf in that ear and started to have discharge from it, which became worse as she would plug her ear with cotton wool to stop the discharge. I suppose it became infected as the discharge and her ear itself had a foul smell, and remained like that for rest of her life. I understand what was happening now

Probably the other way around. :rotfl:

They have a thread on Food Shopping and groceries that usually lists area codes and what they are getting but I don't know which area code is mine but most areas get the same thing and few areas get couple of different things, I am in the few this time round with the lamb mince.
