I have just been on the phone to CPW . Yes you can transfer a virgin PAYG No to this sim. It has to be done a point of sale and they need phone number and sim No( No pac code) It has to be set up over the phone not through the internet. So I will swap all my credit to another sim and take this out.

thats a shame as i'm on virgin aswell, but by keeping my number i'll miss out on the quidco, shame as wife and i have consecutive numbers, dont know which way to do it now!

    Couple of things:

    1. e2save did pay out on the Virgin SIM-only BUT then changed their QuidCo to say "phone" much the same as the CPW one does; ThePhoneSpot did the same apart from rejecting the QuidCo upfront and I had to raise a query. The SIM-only does NOT qualify for the chunky QuidCo payment any more, AFAIK

    2. If you want to keep your number, you can port it out to another provider and port it back in again; I have to do this every few years with T-mobile when they don't play ball with giving me a decent renewal deal though with what I am on now I think I'll never be having to do this again ;-)
