FTB Getting stressed

Hi Everyone,

We are first time buyers up in Scotland.

We had our offer accepted on a house about 3 weeks ago, done our full mortgage application and got out mortgage offer.

we have now been waiting aprox 2 weeks on the solicitor - she cannot proceed as the sellers solicitor doesn't have the title deeds, should I be worried or is this normal?

We have already been let down with a persimmon new build so extra stressed this falls through as we have handed in our notice on our rented Acom as its a two months notice and when our mortgage was accepted the solicitor proposed a move in date of 27th nov.

Thanks
