elf letter help

I need ideas for the letter for the elf to arrive with. This is the first year I will be doing elf on the shelf. My son is 8 he no longer believes in father Christmas so the traditional letters with keeping on the 'good' list aren't suitable. Elf will wrap the advent calendar (as DS chooses his own). Our Elf will also be able to be played with.

Any suggestions for a letter from elf to the older child that still captures the fun and excitement of the tradition without putting too much emphasis on being good for father Christmas. I don't mind the letter mentioning father Christmas as whilst ds knows he isn't real he still enjoys the story and will be happy to play along.

Also if anyone has a link to a free printable passport that would be great.

That literally took less time than it took to type the OP.

There's literally thousands of EOTS ideas, an thousands of sites offering free printables.

Just open google, put in "elf on the shelf printable" and watch the results come up.

Oh and pinterest.

I did google all I could find were letters that related to the good and naughty list (we have never done that even when he was younger) or ones that referred to the elf going back to report to Santa every night. Those are not suitable for an eight year old who knows father Christmas isn't real.

I can't use pinterest, I refuse to use it since you are now forced to register before you can even look at boards.

I found the passport you are linking to, I don't like it, not that I am fussy :rotfl: the only other one I found was one that said expiry date 2001, my son will pick up on that fact

I will just have to keep searching, there must be something about.

I didn't mean to come across as rude. I did thank your post as your were kind enough to reply.

I was just explaining that I had already checked google and didn't find anything that I was happy with so came on here to ask others if they knew of anything suitable with wording for an older child who doesn't believe in father Christmas.

I see lots of posts on here asking for things that are easily found on google most of the people asking have probably googled first found some ideas and then came and asked for further help if they can't find what they need/want.

i run an elf antic group on fb if you are on there. christmas elf antics is the name.. blue snowy 'you've been elf'd' banner. loads of ideas, links,photos and thousands of elf like minded people who can help
