Missing creditors who are on DMP but not on credit file

Hi
I have been in a DMP with stepchange since 2009, in for the long haul.
However I know that over the past few years I have significantly reduce my debts and am committed to doing so completely.
I checked my credit file today as was curious to know when defaults will come off my file and noticed that there are two creditors that are not on my credit file but are still being paid on my DMP.
The two that are missing are to Clarity & Blair Oliver & Scott and are showing significant balances outstanding on my DMP statement, i.e. £2000 & £1000.
I have emailed Stepchange and I have checked both callcredit & Equifax but there is no reference to the missing creditors even closed accounts.
Please can anyone advise as Stepchange are still making payments to these?

The reporting of debt to CCAs is entirely voluntary. Either you owe the debts being collected by Clarity and Blair Oliver & Scott, or you don't. The fact that they are not on your credit file doesn't signify one way or the other.0 -
ok thanks, I misunderstood the credit files as I believed they showed all debts owed.0

Not at all. My OH's credit record actually looks great but she's actually in extremely serious debt with rent arrears on her previous property, gas and electric arrears, DWP overpayments, Council tax arrears and HMRC debts. Not one of them shows on her credit report at all except her £100 overdraft which is unused. To write the debt off she's considering a DRO as the amount owing is not going to be repaid any time soon.bluemonday3 wrote: »ok thanks, I misunderstood the credit files as I believed they showed all debts owed.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

aha thanks, I thought my naivety was diminishing, sadly not but I'm living & learning!
Thanks for your response.0 -
Hi
It’s worth checking your credit file with Experian too if you you’ve only checked Equifax and Call Credit so far. Some debts seem to only be registered with one of the three main credit reference agencies.
