I can't see an expiry date on this offer from SVP, but if it's like most of SVPs offers it will be until 11.59pm this Sunday.

You get a 20x Liteon internal DVD+/-R DVD Writer that is also RAM compatible, 200 nice quality Panasonic DVDR, NERO software and economy delivery. Normal selling price on this at SVP would be over £60.
If you bought similar in PC World it would probably be £80+

Downsides are that you will have to open your PC to put in the DVD Writer. Alternatively you could get an external caddy from SVP to turn the drive into an external writer http://svp.co.uk/products-solo.php?pid=3007
If you are not confident of opening your PC give this a miss. Also, it seems that this writer is only on offer in the colour black....No white ones!

Upsides are that this is very cheap, the DVD writer is a good one, the discs are good quality and Nero is good software.

I have a feeling that with so many PCs these days coming with DVD Writers installed as standard, SVP are having problems selling the volumes of DVD writers that they used to, so are resorting to these sort of bundle deals (They've done a few recently). The good news is that if you build a few systems or want to upgrade a PC, this is a cheap way to do it.
