Overdrafts - what is the point?

My bank offered me an overdraft but I refused it
IMHO it's not my money to spend if I don't have it I don't spend it.
I have my bills set to go out a few days after my wages so if there was ever an error I'd have a few days breathing space to get it corrected so I really don't see the need for me to have one. I also have a totally separate account for all my bills to come out of so if a payment is late it won't bother me as the money will just continue to sit there until they take itFirst Date 08/11/2008, Moved In Together 01/06/2009, Engaged 01/01/10, Wedding Day 27/04/2013, Baby Moshie due 29/06/2019 :T0
