Oyster daily off-peak cap

Hi,
Wondering if anyone can help me understanding the daily off-peak cap for Oyster travel.
I searched through TFL website. There is a PDF at - http content dot tfl dot gov dot uk/tube-dlr-lo-adult-fares.pdf - which gives different off-peak cap for different zones. Then again if you look at this link - https tfl dot gov dot uk/fares-and-payments/contactless/what-is-capping - they have simplified this to just two types - Zone 1-4 and Zone 1-6 and in most cases this is lower than those mentioned in PDF.
Am I missing something fundamental here? Please help.
Thanks

I suspect someone forgot to update the prices on the "what is capping" page. The fares table should be authoritative.Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
On a rotating plate, with spikes like Flash Gordon
And you're Peter Duncan; I gave you fair warning0 -
Ok, I guys I hope to get a lot of thanks for this. :P.
I called up Oyster customer care and told them that they have deducted more than £8.8 for my day travel over weekend. They lady said that the deducted amount is correct. But when I insisted and told her that on TFL website daily limit is £8.8, she put me on hold, checked with someone and told me that they will refund the amount in excess of £8.8 because TFL site is still showing the old amount. So go call them and save some pounds until they update their site.
