Tesco Clubcard Newbie...Please help!!

Options
Hi Guys

I got a tesco credit card which i use for work expenses and pay back and buying bits n bobs.

It occured to me last night I have never checked to see how many points i have on the clubcard so logged in last night and have £50 to which i thought great I will use this at xmas for my big shop.

The problem is I cant see how I use the £50 for money off shopping. There are various coupons that are like £2.00 off wine and 30p off coffee etc but is there a way to get one voucher that totals £50.00 so I can deduct this off my big christmas shop or can i do this in store? like scan the card as partial payment.

Im sorry if this is a really obvious question but i can't find the answer anywhere

It does not work like that.

Every quarter your points are converted to clubcard vouchers which you can use at face value or use to buy clubcard deals such as days out restaurants etc. where you get up to 4 x the value.

Every so often they also offer a double up bonus where you can get double the value of certain departments both instore and online.

Much better to use like that than at face value on your shopping.

I am surprised you cannot find the answer anywhere as this is all explained on the clubcard website.

Maybe I cant see it explained because im not allowed to do that lol

Well that is a bit of a jip. I looked at the days out etc and a lot of them are in England and no good for me. Things like legoland etc which are great deals for families etc

I think i may hold off till November and see if I can do the double up thing you are talking about as I read that they are doing a double up November 2nd

Once logged in to your CLUBCARD account, press light blue vouchers to spend now button, scroll down choose which vouchers and press dark blue print my vouchers button.

I only use my own to clubcard boost to get 4 times for meals etc

Depending how long you have had the Credit Card (is it also linked to an ordinary card?), you will have current points (which you can not spend), and earlier unspent vouchers. The current points will be converted shortly in the latest set of vouchers.

Please note, Tesco will usually send short dated coupons for certain products - either money off, or extra points. However, your points get converted into cash vouchers that have a life of two years (though strictly speaking more like 25 months).

You said, you logged on-line and was informed £50 in vouchers. More info on these can be found by clicking on 'my vouchers'.
