Mortgage question for IT contractor

Hi guys,
I am an IT contractor and applied for mortgage with Halifax and offered received on 08/10/2015 based on my daily rate.
The property is in Luton, bedfordshire.
Now my current contract is expiring on 30/10/2015. I have got a good offer in Manchester and start of contract is 02/10/2015.
Now my questions are
Do I have to inform the Halifax about my contract changes?
Will it have any effect on my mortgage offer if I change my contract? The new contract rate is better than current one
Will it have any effect on my mortgage offer, If i accept a contract offer in Manchester . The plan is to do Mon-Friday over there. My family will be residing in Luton and I will be coming back over the weekend.
Thanks

You do not normally need to notify contract change.
If you will incur additional travel or accommodation expenses as a result of working elsewhere, you should disclose this to the lender and then your new contract income may be required to maintain affordability with the new outgoings.I am a mortgage broker.
