Valued Opinions - 'This survey is now closed'

I'm finding more and more that with surveys from Valued Opinions, I get about ten minutes into the survey (having given them plenty of information they can use) and then I'm suddenly taken to a page that says, 'This survey is now closed'. I'm not talking about screen-outs (which are annoying enough in their own way) but surveys I've clearly been accepted for. It's beyond irritating and it makes me think they are just harvesting lots of information without paying for it. Anyone else got this problem?

    all the time. clearly a way to harvest info they dont have to pay for.
  • I think I'm going to get to my next voucher on VO and then concentrate on better survey sites instead. VO has had enough free information out of me.

    Over the last couple of months, I have had this only once or twice and all right after clicking the link. I thought the same actually, receiving an e-mail and saying there is a new survey and then response within 10 minutes to see that it is closed. However it is still one of the best to me, with low threshold etc.

  • You're lucky it's only happening occasionally. The issue has really escalated for me, to the extent that I can be part way through 3 or 4 surveys one after the other and they all end the same way. Enough is enough!

  • I haven't contacted them - previous experience of contacting them has only ever resulted in a standard reply. My partner is having exactly the same issues so I assume it's not a problem with my account. It's no big deal anyway - I'm routinely getting invites such as 30-minute surveys for 75p and I'm finding it takes twice as long to get to cash-out as it used to, so it's not a big loss :)

    I'm not experiencing many problems with VO, but increasingly being screened out or computer crashing when doing My Survey and Global Test Market surveys. Almost impossible to run their videos at present.


    Have just changed to new PC using Windows 10, IE11, and wondering whether the new browser is causing issues.
