Just been clearing the rubbish from my handbag and I have a receipt from 6th October for Farmfoods and paid 49p for sugar. I don't recall it ever being 39p in my area.....guessing its a local thing if others are undercutting them.

and another receipt found, 11th Oct. Different farmfoods store, also 49p.

wish caster sugar would drop in price a bit to match it with Christmas baking coming up it would be helpful

Just blitz granulated for a few seconds in a food processor.

Thanks Flea I'll give it a go,I don't usually buy ordinary sugar as I don't use it,but have a tin with lots of packets that come free with drinks at cafe's.I keep them for visitors who take sugar in their tea/coffee etc, I never have and I don't have it on cereal either :)

1 bag was around 45p got to checkout and till operator said offer is for 3 bags for £1 there is not notice about this in store I used

They also had Maggie pot noddles 4 for £1 these are 50p each at Asda

I quite like these makes a change for eating a bag of crisps if you get hungry
