Bank charges by stealth

I applaud your relentless attacks on bank charges but I would urge you to extend your crusade to the legalised robbery of bank accounts by the clearing system that is owned by the banks and operated solely for the benefit of the banks. As you are no doubt aware electronic transfers take up to 5 days to be credited to the recipients account. This cannot be justified. I have complained on several occasions but the system has eventually won by ignoring me. A more sustained and public complaint would be harder to ignore

The clue is in the name, most of us here aren't in a terribly strong position with the banking world....

The OP sounds an awful lot like a guy that was banned a couple of weeks ago - he kept going on about the cheque clearing process and then started abusing forum members.
