Credit File Clean up

Slightly Frustrated here!
I have now been discharged since January 2011 and thought it was about time I got my finger out and looked at my credit file. I use Noddle (cos its free) and have today signed up for Checkmyfile.com because it does show you what a number of agencies are listing for you.
Anyway 4 years after my discharge I have had many accounts fall off my file. But even tho they are "closed" some of these are still showing as Default or Partially Satisfied. Do I need to chase these as they are "closed"?
Of my Open accounts I have only 3 accounts that are showing defaulted that were included in my Bankrupcy. A Loan from HSBC (they managed to Satisfy the mortgages and secured loans but not the unsecured loan) and a mobile phone debt from Sigma Red for a whopping £10!!! and a store card from Creation Finance. I have followed the clean up thread at the top and have sent off the letters but this post is more about the discrepencies between what I am seeing that agencies recording. Has anyone got and advice or anything to share?
Thanks - I have 21 weeks until my Bankrupcy is due to fall off my credit report and I really would like it all sorted by then.
Thanks

Account will remain a default, even if closed or (part) satisfied as that does not make the default status go away.
If covered by the bankruptcy, as per the cleanup, you just need to make sure the initial default date was no later than your BR date. That ensures they will all drop off your report 6 year from your BR date, so 2016 presuming that was 2010 somewhen.
If the account was included in your BR but never defaulted, then you would need to amend the clean-up letter slightly to make it clear that they are required to do this, and not having it as a default is inaccurate and unfairly prolongs the time the record stays on your report. Reason being that without the default it would remain until 6 years after a settlement or closure date instead.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

This is all very confusing.
Noddle says I have 3 accounts in default and I have contacted them to tell them using the proforma letters on the sticky.
BUT.....I also signed up for Checkmyfile.com (mainly because the big ones want large fees each month for me to see my credit file) and the reports from this site are quite different with many of my "inactive" accounts having wrong dates for settlement. My bankruptcy is due to come off in 5 months.
Is there a company that helps you wade through all this because its all very confusing? Why can't it just be simple?Donna
