Ok so I have now concluded that it means nothing if a competition runner favourites my tweet on Twitter.
However I have had my blog comp entry retweeted...should I get my hopes up? Xx

Depends if they have retweeted others, every comp is different, some rt everything that is said to them, some don't.
If your entry is just one of few or the only one retweeted you might be in with a shot.
No real way to tell as every comp is different.
