Longest Unsecured Loan - HELP!

Hi,

Does ANYONE know who does the longest term is for an unsecured loan?

The longest I can find is 10 years - I have a good credit rating (believe me years of hard work after a terrible credit rating!) so would prefer a loan at a decent APR too!

I think the very best you can get is 15 years, but your credit file would have to be exceptionally clear, nothing wrong with it at all.

10 years, do you really want to be paying this back for so long.

Sorry i cant offer advice i have just never heard of a loan for sooooo long.

Do you know who does the 15 year one?

What it is - i need the payments to be as low as possible for the time being as I'm on maternity leave (8 week old) and will have to go back to work imminently unless we can rejig our finances. I'd prefer to go back after a year if poss!

We're looking at shortening the term, increasing the payments later down the line. (paying off a high apr loan and 2 credit cards which are crippling us on just my husbands salary!) :eek:
