Scottish Borders Installer recommendations ?

No ! I'm not moving.
But someone I've 'met' in another forum intends to install a 4kw (16 panel) PV solar system on his house in the Scottish Borders. best quote so far is £6500 for a 4kw system with a Solax inverter. 16 panels - make to be confirmed. A slight problem with his house is that it's 3-storey which he thinks might push up prices a bit (but I take view that it just means bunging a few extra planks & tubes on the scaffolders' lorry and perhaps an extra hour on site for them).
Seems a bit steep compared to some recent postings here. Does anyone have any recommendations for an Installer who works in that area ?

I had mine done by Ecoliving. I would NOT recommend them. Components good, planning and workmanship poor and following on from that honesty was lacking.
What I would suggest is using a local electrician that does agricultural installations. If they are local they should be available to respond to issues.0
