Price of Soya Milk at Morrisons
I have been buying the Morrisons own brand, unsweetened soya drink for a long time. Until recently I was paying 74p a litre, then a few weeks ago it went up to 84p, which was annoying. Today it is £1! That's a thirty-five percent rise within a matter of months. And it's not due to the price of soya beans, according to the commodities page on the BBC website they are cheaper than they were a year ago. The cost of transporting them and processing them will have come down too, with the low oil prices.

Morrisons are probably trying to increase their profit margin due to poor trading results in the past and so will possibly increase prices on quite a few of their own brand items to help with this.
Unfortunately there is nothing you can do as they can sell items at whatever price they like - other than stop buying it of course

I shall have to remember to buy their UHT one instead, which only costs 65p and doesn't taste a lot different. I'm just really annoyed that I didn't spot it before I got to the till!0
