Cheap mascara help please

Hi,
I am looking for a cheap mascara - the cheaper the better really, but definitely under £5 if possible.
It doesn't have to be particularly amazing, but one that doesn't smudge or flake is essential. I used to use a great one that only cost £1.50 but they have now changed the formula and it is now no good.
If anyone has any ideas please let me know.
Thanks

Thirded! I use the waterproof one and it's also the only waterproof mascara that doesn't irritate (contacts).Proud to be a moneysaver

I agree! I used to work as a assistant chef and it was the only mascara that did not run or make my very sensitive eyes react. I am blonde and prefer to wear brown mascara for day to day - I was so cross when they decided to discontinue the brown waterproof version. No buying unnecessary toiletries 2014. I tend to buy trial size mascaras off ebay now, so you can buy a high end one for under £5. I recently bought Benefit Roller Lash for about £3.95. Great mascara and best off all you get to use the whole tube before it goes out of date and needs to go in the bin.0

Essence at Wilko. Lots to choose from, unfortunately they discontinued my fave! check them all online for your preferred type.0

You could try Poundland, they now stock make-up and have a large selection of Mascara's for £1 - I have not tried them myself!0
