Cheap mascara help please

Hi,

I am looking for a cheap mascara - the cheaper the better really, but definitely under £5 if possible.

It doesn't have to be particularly amazing, but one that doesn't smudge or flake is essential. I used to use a great one that only cost £1.50 but they have now changed the formula and it is now no good.

If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

Thanks

Thirded! I use the waterproof one and it's also the only waterproof mascara that doesn't irritate (contacts).
Proud to be a moneysaver :)
  • I agree! I used to work as a assistant chef and it was the only mascara that did not run or make my very sensitive eyes react. I am blonde and prefer to wear brown mascara for day to day - I was so cross when they decided to discontinue the brown waterproof version.

  • I tend to buy trial size mascaras off ebay now, so you can buy a high end one for under £5. I recently bought Benefit Roller Lash for about £3.95. Great mascara and best off all you get to use the whole tube before it goes out of date and needs to go in the bin.

Beauty UK mascara. . . .don't know much about mascara but my wife was given some of that, and she says it did the trick! £2.99
  • You could try Poundland, they now stock make-up and have a large selection of Mascara's for £1 - I have not tried them myself!
