Notice period for freelance work

I am currently self-employed as a freelance web developer. I am working full-time for a company as a freelancer, I have no contract of employment and receive no employee benefits such as holidays and sick pay. I only get paid for the days/hours I work.

Does anyone know if I have to give notice and if so how long?

No, as you are not employed bythe company so you don't have to give any notice.

Self-employed people negotiate terms for an assignment with their clients. You might commit to finishing by a certain date for example, or to spend a certain number of hours on the work. When the work is finished, your arrangement is at an end.
