Hey all!
Any one ever used "Viceroy bedding" or "The duvet store" ?
Viceroy is cheaper with these:
http://www.viceroybedding.co.uk/product/307/-single-size-135cm-x-200cm-pure-siberian-goose-down-duvet/pure-siberian-goose-down
http://www.viceroybedding.co.uk/product/121/-single-size-135cm-x-200cm-pure-hungarian-goose-down-duvet/pure-hungarian-goose-down
But the duvet store say they have a 15 year guarantee
http://www.theduvetstore.co.uk/index.php/100-Pure-Hungarian-Goose-Down-13.5-Tog-Duvets/100-Hungarian-White-Goose-Down-Single-13.5-Tog-Duvet/flypage_images.tpl.htm
Which might be worth it in the long run? Or maybe not? Advise would be appreciated!!

Try http://www.soakandsleep.com/ - they frequently do sales, often posted here.
Not top top quality, but good enough, very very good price. I've ordered a few times over the years and been very satisfied.0 -
Thanks ordered from there, considering the discount. It is like 2/3 of the price and has the same guarantee, but perhaps of a slightly lesser quality than the duvetstore,...
At any rate, it's gonna be pretty good for me or should be as I've never had a down duvet before!!!0 -
I was researching this earlier this year and ended up buying this, which I've been very happy with: http://www.bigbrandbeds.co.uk/shop/die-zudecke-canadian-white-snow-goose-down-duvet/
I've ordered a few things in the past from Soak & Sleep (when they were DAPW) but I've not been very impressed with how they wear.Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
On a rotating plate, with spikes like Flash Gordon
And you're Peter Duncan; I gave you fair warning0 -
I fancied this ... but my wife said it was out of our price range

Oh well ... Wilko here we come0 -

Thanks but looking at that, they have a slightly lesser warranty, seem to sell the same sorta stuff, and it cost a little more cos I got 20% off at sleep and soakI fancied this ... but my wife said it was out of our price range

Lol I saw the Siberian goose stuff. Can't be doing with 15 tog myself! I've gone and bought the "all seasons" duvet from sleep and soak
The ones at the duvet store do seem like they may be better quality, but for 2/3 of the price, with the same warranty Im off to soak and sleep instead!0 -
On the subject of Siberian Goose down, this is worth a read: http://www.plumeriabay.com/main/info/siberian-goose-down.aspx
Soak & Sleep seems to be one of those sites that's pretty much constantly having a sale, so I suspect the fair value of their goods is the reduced price rather than the "normal" price.Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
