Hi,am sure I saw someone recommend some , that you cut to fit around the wall fixtures of the radiator (not the film-y type)

I cannot post a link, as I am a new user, but there are some in Nigel's Eco Store. They are called radiator reflectors.
(When you go to the site, they are in the first section under Nigel, the "Energy Saving" column)

L*dl currently have rolls of the stuff - I think it was £5 (I brought it last year) - I did 4 medium sized radiators with it.
It's a foil backed polystyrene so very easy to cut to slot over the brackets and I just secured mine with a bit of double sided tape in the corners.
