Moving mortgage direct debit ( Barclays )

Hi

Currently my D/D for Woolwich mortgage goes out of my Santander current account.

Have recently opened a Halifax Rewards account, and want to move the D/D over to that one.

Would it be best to just go in my local Barclays branch to sort this out ? Sure I have read on here that Woolwich customer support not brilliant over phone..

I was gonna wait till this months payment has gone, then sort it out.

Just a bit worried that if swap over goes wrong, end up with black mark on credit file :eek:

If you go into a branch they will only call up anyway so save yourself the trip.

Call up, explain what you want to do. You will be sent a new direct debit mandate to complete and return.
