    Hi,

If it's any help. We completed on our home last month. I had 1 default which is due to expire next year. We had a 20% deposit and were able to go through Halifax on a standard rate.

I was surprised with the ease of it considering I had the defualt to my name. We used a broker who was able to handle this. They did ask him about the default but he was able to professionally explain it to them which they were happy with.

    Good luck.
