I know- ask my broker, you can't change what will happen, it takes as long as it takes, etc etc etc... I am sensible, I know all that!
But just wondered if anyone with any experience with them could advise what sort of timeframe we're looking at with our Precise application, just to calm me down? Full app went in on 30/09, and broker came back on 09/10 to say that valuation had been instructed and asking for a couple of extra bits for the underwriter, which we submit this morning.
How long do you think we might be looking at now? Their website says 8 working days from valuation to offer, but am I right in thinking that might be a bit optimistic?
I am fretting that we won't get an offer and I'd rather just know if that were the case!

Whatever we say here, you will continue to fret until you get your offer and probably afterwards as well.
That's the game.
If your broker is confident it will be for a reason.I am a Mortgage Broker

Fair enough. Our broker has been incredibly non-committal on whether he's confident or not!
Let me put it this way then- is instructing the valutation a good sign, or in reality does it not really mean diddly in terms of whether or not they're going to make an offer?0 -

Think of it as a 400 metre hurdle race. At any point in the race one could trip up on a single hurdle and not cross the finishing line. Crossing the line is all that actually matters.0 -
Latest update- Precise have come back asking why my P60 for my last job only shows 9 months employment when I told them 10, mad panic until I realised I did tell them 9 and they just made a mistake! They’ve also asked for a couple of payslips from my last job to clarify things.
Good news is my broker said ‘This lender is not fussy about poor credit but they are mega fussy regarding paperwork’- so long as they give us the mortgage I don’t mind!0 -
We got our Precise mortgage..the offer was really quick...only waited a day between Valuation & Mortgage Offer

If your valuation fee has been refunded I would be speaking to your broker asap as whilst this could be a minor hiccup it could also be the sign of a bigger issue.I am a Mortgage BrokerYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Broker, so you need to take my word for it.
