old northern rock account number

In the process of an mppi from northern rock,now i don't have my account number.But on checking my bank account statements from the years i was paying th direct debit there is an 8 digit reference number which i thought would be my mortgage account number,but NRAM as they are now called say it would need to be 10 numbers,is there any other way i can find the account number,unfortunately all the original paperwork was dstroyed in a flood.

I was just wondering how you got on with finding your Northern Rock account number? I had a mortgage with Northern Rock and am pretty sure I was paying PPI however after contacting NRAM, they have told me that they can't find any record of any account numbers? I have no paperwork so didn't know where to begin.

Was hoping you could give me a starting point!

Most MPPI is monthly direct debit standalone from the mortgage (one of the reasons why most MPPI complaints are rejected). So, check your bank statements to look up the details]

Did NR sell you the MPPI or did a broker?
