Extra morning/weekend income

HI all,

I'm new to the forum and was looking for some advice on earning some extra money in my spare time.

I an planning on travelling in May next year and would like not only to clear my debts but have a decent amount of savings to fall back on in emergencies (I'm planning on working as I travel).

I currently work 11-4 Monday to Saturday in a family business earning minimum wage which leaves me some free time in the morning and evenings to earn some extra money.

I've read most of the posts about selling things on ebay etc but I'm struggling to think of any other things I can do in the morning either than a paper round or cleaning to earn some extra pennies.

I have done plenty of building work before and have my own tools so I can do most DIY tasks. I'm pretty good with technology and computers. I started a blog around 3 months ago but this was mainly something I do out of passion and do not have unrealistic expectations about making huge sums of money from it.

Any suggestions would be very welcomes, thanks.

You could apply for a job as an evening cashier in a bookmaker, I did that as well as a full time job a few years ago. I did 6PM to 9:30PM Mon - Fri. I was taking home an extra £500 a month. Just an idea for you.

  • Hi, I actually lost my job last year before Xmas. I needed money obviously for presents etc. I came across an advert promoting "matched betting". So I done my research and found a company which basically teaches you about it. The news papers have been writing about matched betting too. I made £1500 within a month so I was pretty good for xmas pressies. Anyway if your interested I found a real good website to help u earn an extra income. It's "matched betting pro.co.uk " without any spaces !p.s I still make money from matched betting now :) good luck
