Leeds wrote to my employers and they have my 3yr employment history which they sent back to leeds bs.Im so worried we will get rejected with them writing to my employers can anyone help please? :)

I don't know what Leeds will say.

But if it was going to reject you out of hand, I think it would have done that already. There's no point in it wasting its own time writing to your employer if it's going to reject you whatever your employer says.

Did you research what the Leeds policy on your employment type is? Or engage a broker to do this for you?

(Also, you borrow money from a mortgage company. They lend it to you.)
  • Sorry first time iv been on these forums and not very good at wording things,Went through a broker but he's now on holiday for 2 weeks, looking on leeds criteria it says 6mth employment but does not state zero hr contracts anywhere.Iv been getting regular work for 5yrs on zero hr contract and never go under 15hrs a week, my job fits around our two children, so I was wondering if anyone else had managed to get a mortgage offer with 2nd applicant being on a zero hr contract?

Contact whoever is picking up your case in your broker's absence if you're worried.
